Easter: Decorated Egg Nails

Welcome back!

The past couple of days I have been working on some Easter egg nail art which I'm sharing with you today! It was easy, and only uses a few colors, even though at first glance it looks like a million.

Pink: Sinful Colors Cotton Candy
Purple: Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth
Blue: Sinful Colors Sweet Nothing
Green: Sinful Colors Pistache
Yellow: Sinful Colors Unicorn
White: Sinful Colors Snow Me White

I started this manicure by using each color, besides white, and painting one nail that color for a base, then top coated them.

Next, I went in with white and drew all the designs out using dotting tools, stripers and Nail Vinyls. Once it dried, I top coated again.

Finally, I repeated the process exactly on each nail, just using colors instead of white! It was easy!

This could definitely be simplified a little, but I was having so much fun that I think I got a little carried away!

Mani By Annie: Spring Nails

Welcome back!

The other day, I did my sister's nails for spring, and just wanted to share them!

Purple: Fingerpaints Endless Wear Hue Knew?
White: OPI Alpine Snow & Salon Perfect Nail Art Striper White Out
Yellow: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Sizzlin' Saffron

This was the first time I had used the Endless Wear polishes and I really liked it so far! It applied easily and so far my sister has not had any problems with chipping on the nails with both Endless Wear polish and top coat.

Sinful Colors Shamrockin'

Welcome back!

Today's nails are some simple French tips with the St. Patrick's Day polish from Sinful Colors in Shamrockin'. Even though it was supposed to be a St. Patrick's Day polish, it works great for spring, too! It's green glitter with some big white flower glitters. It's such a cute polish! I sponged this on used a latex free makeup sponged.

For the French nails, I used Nicole by OPI Strengthener+ to start. Then I used two coats of Sally Hansen Diamond Shine Barely There. To top it off, I used the Nicole by OPI Brightener+, then a coat of topcoat. Once it was dry, I used my French Tip Nail Vinyls with Nicole by OPI Yoga-Then-Yogurt.

It even worked out that they matched my book!

St. Patrick's Day: Galaxy Nails

Welcome back!

After doing my Valentine's Day galaxy nails, I was inspired to do more galaxy nails that were themed for different holidays, seasons and events. I've done Valentine Galaxies and Winterized Galaxies. Today, I have some St. Patrick's Day Galaxies for you!

Black: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Night Fright
White: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri OMGhost
Dark Green: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri I-Rush Luck
Green: China Glaze I'm With the Lifeguard
Light Green: Maybelline The Color Show Bleached Neons Lime Accent
Fine Gold Glitter: Avon Snowman (from years ago)
Chunky Gold Glitter: Pure Ice Bling on the Holidays

I did these just like any other galaxies. I started by painting the nails black, then added a quick dry top coat. Once it was dry, I sponged on the white, then all three greens, starting with the darkest, and going lighter. Next I put on the fine glitter, and then used the chunky glitter and picked out the largest pieces to make "stars." Finally, I used white polish to create a few shamrock "stars" on the nails.

St. Patrick's Day: Pot of Gold

Welcome back!

Today's manicure was a pot of gold and coins! I used all Essie polishes for this one!

Green: Vices Versa
White: Blanc
Black: Licorice
Gold: Good As Gold
Silver: No Place Like Chrome
Bronze: Penny Talk

For all nails, I used dotting tools to make the different designs. I really liked the way this turned out! I used the different chrome colors for the dots on my middle finger and thumb to try to make it look like different kinds of coins being used.

Blue and White Dots & Chevrons

Welcome back!

I probably need more creative titles to my designs. But oh well!

The past couple of days I have been wearing this manicure, which was my blue and white mix and match type nails.

Blue: OPI Feeling Treemendous
White: OPI Alpine Snow

The chevrons were done using nail vinyls and the dots were done with dotting tools!

St. Patrick's Day: Leprechauns

Welcome back!

Today I wore some cute leprechaun nails! I did these in the same style as my Santa and Elf nails at Christmas! I did one nail with the leprechaun's face, and the rest were painted to look like his suit!

Light Green: Color Club Twiggie
Dark Green: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri I-Rush Luck
Black: Salon Perfect Nail Art Striper Black Ink
Gold: OPI 50 Years of Style
Nude: Sally Hansen Diamond Strength Barely There
Orange: Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed
Red: Salon Perfect Nail Art Striper Laser Beam

The nails were pretty easy! I used dotting tools and the stripers for everything, except for the hat on the leprechaun's face. I taped that part off and painted the exposed area to create a crisp line for the edge of the hat.

St. Patrick's Day: Shamrocks & Chevron

Welcome back!

My nails today are my first St. Patrick's day nails of the year! I did shamrocks, with an accent chevron nail.

White: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri OMGhost
Green: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri I-rush Luck
Gold: OPI 50 Years of Style

The chevrons were done using nail vinyls. I did a white base, put down the vinyls, and then painted green. I free-handed the gold accent. All of the shamrocks were done using different size dotting tools.
